Bethany Home in Pangsilatong, Thailand
Statistics show that 75% of the children of prisoners will end up in prison themselves if there is not intervention from a reliable caring source. Bethany Home was born when one of the prisoners who were on Death Row became a Christian. She told us she was to be executed, but because she was a Christian she was going to be ok because she was going to live with her Lord Jesus. She begged us to take her two children from her relatives and raise them and teach them about Jesus so that they could also be saved and she would be able to see them again in heaven.
Concern International has partnered with Charles and Lourdes Holmes in Thailand caring for the children of parents who are serving time in prison. Bethany Home is located on a large compound with a girl’s dorm, boy’s dorm, and staff living quarters and thanks to your generosity an indoor kitchen. (Before your donations built the new kitchen all food was prepared over an open fire outdoors) The children are housed, clothed, fed, educated and taught about the eternal unconditional love of Jesus Christ!
