A land of beauty, intrigue and mystery, Cambodia is also a land of poverty and extreme need! One of the most basic needs we as humans have is the need to renew and refresh ourselves with water. (we can survive for long periods of time without food, but only a few days without water) Although the country is full of lush beauty in its jungles and woodlands clean unpolluted drinking water is nearly impossible to find. Concern International has joined forces with the indigenes churches of Cambodia and is striving to relieve some of the major shortage for clean drinking water. Concern International is “planting” water wells in the front yards of churches in some of the remotest, harshest regions of Cambodia. These wells are “gifts” to the villages and are open for all to use.
“You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” Isaiah 58: 11b
